The firm of Laurence G. Jones architect was formed in the late 1990’s to offer traditional architectural services to clients in New York City.
The first several years were dominated by work in the financial industry and the burgeoning tech sector. Post 2001 the firm quickly diversified with fashion retail & showrooms, auto showrooms & facilities, schools, restaurants, and core building alterations and additions. The firm’s client base is a broad and diverse sampling of companies and organizations throughout the region including The School of Visual Arts, Sanders Morris Harris, and New York Life Investment Management.
About Laurence G. Jones
Mr. Jones is a graduate of the Pratt School of Architecture and began his professional career in the design and construction of commercial structures. From the 1980’s thru the 1990’s he worked on numerous new structures for major retail establishments - Saks Fifth Avenue, Marshall Fields, Bergdof Goodman etc. In 1994 he established his own office, Laurence G. Jones Architects to specialize in the design & construction of corporate interiors. Since that time the office has broadened its services and client base to include corporate and non-profit concerns throughout the New York City area.
